Governor Rell has banned parole. Even those, out of parole, who had already rejoined society are being taken back to prison (this includes Tranny’s and Queers who have disappeared from the streets.) But those who leave on parole are half as likely to return to prison than prisoners who complete a full term. It makes no sense to ban parole. And now, Legislators want to spend $400M on new prisons for 2000 people. If we spend this money on housing, education and jobs, folks would working and contributing to society and not in prison.
