Of this permanent dialogue. Queers Beware!

“The Vatican and Muslim leaders agreed to establish a permanent official dialogue to improve relations and heal wounds still open from a controversial papal speech in 2006. A joint statement said the first meeting of “The Catholic-Muslim forum” will take place on November 4-6 in Rome with religious leaders and scholars from both sides.”

Scary, Scary, Scary. Once there was an art piece that talked about this. It was called When Old Devils Kiss and Shake OUR Whole World Is Gonna Quake. Beware, Beware, Beware. The call out was issued from Furbird’s Watch Dogs who called then for a lot of biting, howling and snapping when such devils met to do their nasty. We all are well aware of the Nazi pope who sits on the throne in Rome sending out proclamations against us “the abominations of the world.” Blaming us because there is no peace. And we are well aware of the treatment of LGBT people in the Muslim countries of the world. Some claim they have none because homosexuality is a western disease, but we know it is more than likely because they have killed us, forced us into exile or into the underground. The picture of the two teens hung in Iran last year still is in my mind. The stories of those forced to flee are fresh as this minute. The Pope’s remarks about us are as fresh as a skunk cabbage plant bruised. We at Furbird’s Watchdogs again call for lots of howling when this dangerous liaison takes place on November 4-6, 2008 in Rome. Damn I hope thy meet in the house of mirrors.

So the Muslims cry that the Pope’s speech still hurts them, that they are not fully healed and no one should read too much into this initiative. Well honey get in line, the Queer community has been waiting for a long time to. They also remind us that there will be no peace in the world unless there is peace and understanding between these two communities. Man-o-Mano that’s some heavy shit to hold over the whole wide world. As if those religions ever brought the world peace. And the Pope cries that there has been a misunderstanding about what he said in his lecture in Regensburg, Germany. Boo, HOo, BoO, HoO. There forces combined, the outcome will be more like a real Halloween BOO. A real cut throat coming up in the dark and jumping out from behind the bushes and doing queer little you in. Their pissing and moaning really takes the cake, that all of us who do not give one rat’s ass about Christians and Muslims have to be faced with a fury of hell brought to us in the name of their religions.  No matter what type of dialogue these two come up with, no matter what type of peace they spit off of their forked tongues it will not bring peace to and for our community. What type of proclamations will come out of their lovey dovey sessions? Just think we will have a united opposition against us, a two headed freaky monster breathing its stinking breath in our face and there is no telling what this horror show will have in store for us. As they tongue each other deeper they will need a common enemy so to continue their passion of getting along. That’s us, that is all of us, LGBTQI and what ever letter you many want to add to the soup. We are their common enemy. Now I want to be as liberal as anyone else and play nice nice and say we just don’t understand and we need to have a good heart to heart talk, sing This Little Light Of Mine and have a potluck dinner. But honey all I can say to our Queer community is be scared. Be real scared. Either one Catholic or Muslim are capable of chopping off your head, terrorizing you or sending out their misguided goons to give you the business.

If I prayed about such things I would pray for a leader to rise up and chase these evil doers and their followers until they fell out from exhaustion. I would pray for someone to come and rid the world of churches, mosques,temples and synagogues. I would pray for a breaking of slavery chains of organized religion, of the horrible lies told on our people’s names, so people could truly be free from these misguided and mistaken masters. As the Furbird’s Watch Dogs spoke years ago, Beware when old devils kiss and shake as your whole world is gonna shake. 

As you well know Punk Pink likes a good rant now and then and doesn’t care if anyone likes it or not. Pink is also very aware that a fine line must be walked here. No one should gather from the above that I would support the US war threats against the Iranian government  any other Muslim nation or the war that has for 5 years now destroyed Iraq. But I will not be lulled into a collusion with tyrants be they Catholic, Fundamentalist Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Capitalist, the petty tyrant in political office or the thugs and goons on the street. As Queers it is our duty to speak out for and about our people where ever they may be and to speak out against all threats to our lives or our well being. As Queers it is our duty to speak out as we see fit.
