*A Poem Of Our People*
We are Here
By Robin Passariello Mc Haelen
A person’s a person
No matter how queer
The world better listen
We are here, we are here.
Gay, Bi or Straight-ish
Boi Dyke or Bear
Trans Guys and T -Girls
We are here, we are here.
Drag Queens and Leathermen,
Butch, fly or femme
We are all of us Family
They are we, we are them.
Brown, white or yellow
Black, red or tan
Our race is all human
And equal we stand.
Studs and Agressives
And lesbian moms
Gay dad and families
Fem boys and Toms.
Piercers and Goth kids
Homo thug or dyke
Queer spawn or spouses
We are here and alike.
We are all of us family
Though some call us queer
We are all human beings
We are here, we are here.
A person’s a person, No matter how queer
The world better listen, We are here, we are here.

Thanks Robin for this wonderful poem. It is very refreshing. We are honored to have your poem posted here.
Neat to be reminded about all of us and we know not one of us can or should we ever, throw overboard or under the bus any of our people. We might have our disagreements but hand in hand we must stand if we are under attack.
Case in point is the Metroline flap. From the liberals to the radicals to the inbetweens we stand up and out when anyone tries to revise ourstories and exclude some of us.
